  • Monthly savings statements - From May we will be sending future monthly statements of electronic transactions on your savings account by email. More details on how to view your statement and the new process can be found here.

  • Following the Bank of England’s decision to raise the Bank Rate by 0.25% to 1.00% on 5 May 2022, Windfall Bond and Tracker Savings Bond rates will increase by 0.25% from 1 June 2022. We are reviewing our other variable savings rates and will notify customers of any interest rate increase on their account. Tracker mortgages will change on 25 June 2022 and we will write to customers individually with revised payment details where the new rate exceeds the minimum rate (or ‘floor’) already applying to their mortgage. Many of our staff are now working remotely in order to provide essential support to ensure that your savings continue to be looked after in our usual secure and safe way, and that you can continue to operate your accounts as normal.

As a mutual building society we are here to support you, our members. We are doing everything we can to ensure that there is no disruption to our levels of service to you.

Important information for savers

You can continue to open new savings accounts and manage your existing accounts in all the usual ways, such as by using our Online Service, calling us or by sending us an email.

Withdrawal requests - instructions for withdrawals by Faster Payment must be received by 3.00pm for withdrawals the same day.

Accessing your money if you're self-isolating - if you need to give someone access to your account in the short-term, perhaps because you're isolating and unable to get to branch to withdraw money, you can use our Third party mandate form to allow someone to carry out transactions on your behalf.
