Open a Windfall Bond savings account online
You're applying to open a Windfall Bond savings account.Important information about Windfall Bond account opening.
Windfall Bonds qualify for their first monthly free prize draw entry in the second calendar month after successful account opening.
For example, a Windfall Bond account opened in March qualifies for the first draw in May. This means that new account applications must have been received by us, all identity and bank details successfully verified, and the £10,000 deposit received into the new Windfall Bond account by the end of the last working day of the month. Our working days are 9am to 5.30pm Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays.
Applications received towards the end of a month may not complete all of these steps in time to be open before the end of the month, particularly if we need to request documents to confirm your identity or bank account. This may result in a delay in qualifying for the monthly free prize draw.
