From 1 May 2026, the Renters’ Rights Act introduces major changes to renting in England. Assured Shorthold Tenancies and section 21 “no‑fault” evictions will end, with all tenancies becoming Assured Periodic Tenancies. Landlords must also provide existing tenants with a government‑prescribed Information Sheet by 31 May 2026, with further reforms following later in 2026. Read more.

Mortgage products - On Thursday 16 April 2026, we launched a new range of our Owner Occupier and Buy to Let fixed rate products, where most of our product rates have been reduced.
