  • Our Windfall Bond is available for new account openings, offering interest at the Bank of England Bank Rate and entry into a monthly free prize draw with more prizes available now determined by the prize fund value. Find out more here

    Newly opened accounts need to be fully funded and nominated bank details registered before the end of September in order to qualify for entry into the November Prize Draw.

  • Mortgage products - On Friday 20 September we made changes to our Buy to Let mortgage product range. Our BTL Limited Company 5 Year Fixed Rate product (XF0898) has been withdrawn without replacement, and we've launched a new BTL UK Landlord 5 Year Fixed Rate product.     On 19 September 2024, we reduced our Managed Mortgage Rates (MMR) by 0.25%. All on-sale discounted variable product rates and other details, including representative examples displayed on our website, have been updated to reflect these lower rates. We have written to existing customers who have been impacted by this change, with details relevant to them. Find out full details here.

November 2024 - Upcoming Prizes!

In October we had 14,151 qualifying Windfall Bond entries*.


November's free prize draw is on 14 November 2024.

The number of prizes in November's prize draw are as follows:

 

This provides a total of 137 prizes for the month of November, worth £118,000.

*Each Windfall Bond requires a £10,000 deposit and details of a nominated bank/building society on record. Newly opened Windfall Bonds qualify for the Monthly Free Prize Draw in the second calendar month after the bond has been opened. for example, a Windfall Bond opened in October would be entered into December's Monthly Free Prize Draw.

Our Windfall Bond Monthly Free Draw takes place on the 10th working day of every calendar month.

  • 13 December 2024
  • 15 January 2025

Winners will be selected at random from all entries to each monthly draw by an independent third party appointed by the Society. 

Winners of the monthly free prize draw will be notified by us using the details held on the relevant Windfall Bond account record by one of the following methods: by email, in writing or by telephone within 10 working days from the date when the monthly draw takes place.

  • If you are a winner of a Level A or a Level B prize, a member of our Family Service Team will contact you to confirm your details, after which the prize money will be paid into your pre-nominated bank account
  • If you are a Level C, D or E prize winner – the prize money will automatically be paid into your pre-nominated account and we will notify you by email or letter.
